ACCOUNT MANAGER - SIMICS - Industrial Vertical

� Work as a member of a team that consists of: Sales VP, Field Applications Engineer, Marketing, Inside Sales Representatives and Professional Services
� Proactively create the demand for Simics solutions and build a pipeline of qualified prospects within an already established customer base and with new accounts in the Industrial marketplace.
� Build and execute effective territory, account, and opportunity plans enabling overachievement of assigned quota.
� Build strong account relationships in your key accounts to become the trusted advisor with your client�s senior level decision makers
� Meet with and listen to the needs of prospective customers to understand their current and future business and technical needs
� Coordinate meetings, demonstrations, seminars, etc. to present the value proposition of Simics solutions to the customer
� Work with Field Application Engineers, Marketing Resources, and various Simics resources to demonstrate how Simics solutions will address the needs of the customer
� Assemble compelling business cases and written proposals that enable you to close business
� Direct the effort of the Customer Support Organization to work with the customer after the sale to make sure that they are using our products to the maximum benefit
� Provide accurate and factual information regarding customer product feedback to Simics Marketing and Engineering
� Understand the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives to the Simics solutions

REQUIREMENTS

� Demonstrated success in selling complex software/service solutions to Executive and Senior Level Management in the Aerospace and Defense industry
� Understanding of the product development lifecycle of complex products with embedded systems to include various system/software development methodologies and the tools in their echo system to support each phase
� Ability to effectively access and converse with client executives, build trust, and gain a working understanding of key business and technical challenges that confront that individual
� Ability to understand and effectively communicate the value and ROI of Simics solutions to all levels in client organization
� Ability to effectively manage a complex sales process that includes multiple resources from both Wind River and Client enabling you to efficiently close six and seven figure deals.
� Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions oriented sales approach
� Track record of success exceeding assigned quota
� Solid grasp of embedded software sales and OEM marketplace
� Strong hunting and prospecting skills
� Excellent listening, presentation and public speaking skills
� BS/BA Degree - MBA preferred (BSEE/BSCE helpful but not necessary)
� 10+ years selling software / services solutions
� Understanding of commonly used simulation technologies, test and code coverage scenarios for software development, test and integration.
