Solutions Architect:
Must haves:
· Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing architecture experience for complex projects and initiatives; performing enterprise applications integration (EAI); defining and developing shared services architectures; designing and developing component architectures; and/or defining enterprise technology architectures; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level both technically and in measure of responsibility;
· Three to five years full project lifecycle experience, preferably in a large consulting environment
· Strong in Oracle with some SQL Server background
· Strong in Java with some .NET background
· Strong in Oracle with some SQL Server background
· Moderately Strong in Business Architecture and related analytics and business intelligence
· Moderately to Highly Strong in Technical Infrastructure Architecture
· SOA Experience is mandatory
· Experience with large, complex enterprise applications in the Utilities Industry
· Ability to analyze data and situations, identify and solve problems, reason logically, draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions;
· Ability to apply creative thinking in the design of methods for processing data;
· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents;
· Ability to follow detailed directions, multi-task, perform analytical thinking to complete necessary work
· Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, research, and personal computer skills
· Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and identity and access management best practices
· Ability to create design documents and specifications to be communicated to the stakeholders
· Ability to troubleshoot and isolate technical issues and make appropriate changes as necessary
· Ability to make technical decisions regarding assigned tasks when presented with options
· Strong facilitation skills and ability to synthesize key points/issues and present to stakeholders
Desirable Experience
· Experience and knowledge in data solutions related to SAP (Business Objects, etc.)
· Strong mobile architect for field service in Utilities that would be transitioning to mobile applications in support of business needs.
