Position: Analyst Relations Specialist, Security
Hiring Manager: Manager, Global Analyst Relations, Security

The Analyst Relations Specialist, Security will be responsible for driving an industry-leading Security Analyst Relations influencer program.
The successful candidate will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver programs that maximize influencer and customer awareness, consideration and recommendation of Cisco�s Security strategy, products and services globally. He/she will be responsible for developing high ROI outreach programs focused on strategic engagement with the industry analyst community across the globe along with continued evolution of programs to meet demands of internal and external clients. He/she is also expected to act as a key strategic advisor to Cisco�s business, driving valuable insight, guidance and feedback regarding industry reports and analyst opinions back into the business to help inform strategy, business and marketing decisions.

A solid understanding of business fundamentals and technology is essential.

Specific responsibilities include:
� Deep knowledge and ability to assess influence, tier and prioritize analyst/influencer community globally
� Provide insight and feedback into the business to help inform strategies and decisions
� Develop and manage a Security AR influencer plan that supports the business priorities and aligns to the strategic company initiatives
� Ability and willingness to serve as a content expert and spokesperson when working with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
� Ongoing communication and measurement of programs
� Drives and reinforces best practices, processes and procedures.

Ideal candidate will have strong industry analyst relations background with solid analytical skills, as well as experience that demonstrates sound judgment, good instincts and excellent time management skills. The candidate must have experience in the technology industry and be comfortable engaging in content-rich discussions around technology and business. Experience in the security space is desirable. Candidate will manage multiple long-term and short-term initiatives simultaneously, and must possess outstanding organizational, follow up, prioritization, communications and leadership skills. This position requires excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across and within organizations. Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience.
