We are looking for a Product Marketing/Demand Generation Manager to lead outbound marketing activities for a San Francisco based startup company in the Disaster Recovery space. This startup is focused on providing Disaster Recovery solutions to SMB companies in the legal, healthcare, and financial services verticals. The company wants a leader to develop marketing content and conceive implement demand generation programs to drive sales.
This is a ongoing project (with quarterly renewals), 40 hours per week, onsite at the client���s offices in San Francisco, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions� employee.
Responsibilities:
�Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate the product
�Create wide variety of content and marketing collateral such as press releases, product briefs, case studies, and white papers to build brand awareness
�Understand the market through sales insight, market research, and competitive analysis
�Develop a comprehensive demand generation strategy�including target market identification, , metrics and activities to be employed - email campaigns, events, social media, etc
�Develop and execute lead generation programs, marketing tactics, events and other activities which may include the following: SEO, SEM, website and community requirements, events, webinars, seminars, telesales, etc.
�Work with industry analysts
Requirements:
�7+ years of experience in product marketing ; preferably in Disaster Recovery, Backup, Storage or related industry segment
�Solid experience and proven success in designing and implementing lead generation strategies and working collaboratively with sales team to build the sales pipeline
�Experience in marketing to SMB companies
�Hands on experience and proficiency with SalesForce.com
�Start up experience, preferred
�Bachelor Degree, MBA preferred
