Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is hiring a full-time Marketing Communications Coordinator for our technology client in Santa Cruz, CA. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will work closely with the client's Marketing Communications Manager supporting the Enterprise Channel Communications team by developing and driving a wide range of marketing communications activities and projects. The Marcom Coordinator will assist with marketing strategy and idea creation, identify appropriate channels to utilize for marketing messaging, assist with development of marketing materials ensuring consistency with brand identity, and help define project scope of the client's marcom deliverables

The ideal candidate is a fast moving self-starter who can conceptualize ideas with minimal day-to-day guidance, is detail-oriented with a focus on big picture results, and has excellent follow through. Seeking a creative problem solver who creates and maintains good working relationships with peers, and remains flexible in a rapidly changing environment.

Specific responsibilities:



Work with Marketing Communications Manager on development of marcom materials, which may include: event materials, video editing, point-of-sale materials, product collateral, sales tools and more

Coordinate projects independently through completion utilizing existing templates and/or developing new templates within the brand guidelines

Aggregate content from subject matter experts and manage copyediting, proofreading and review cycles

Ensure brand consistency in all materials and programs

Proactively work with internal teams and vendors in order to effectively support marketing initiatives and objectives

Support marketing communications team on projects as directed

Skills:



3-5 years' hands-on experience working in marketing communications, advertising or creative services

Writing, editing and proofing experience with good grasp of the English language and grammar

Proficiency in Windows-based applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Understanding of Graphic design principles/terminology a significant plus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to produce effective communication materials

Team player who is self-directed and detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines

Creative thinker who is diplomatic, resourceful, and flexible

Be passionate, energetic with the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure

4-year college degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related area

Experience in a mid- to enterprise-level technology company a plus

 
 
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available

 
 LOCATION: Onsite at clients' office in Santa Cruz, CA. Potential to work from home one day per week. No phone calls, please; Local SF Bay Area candidates only.

 
HOURS/DURATION: FT, ASAP - ongoing.
