Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

1.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of all equity compensation related plans and programs;

2.Assist in the preparation of meeting materials for the Human Capital Committee of the Board of Directors. This includes development/updating of the Compensation Committee calendar;

3.Responsible for the preparation of reports regarding executive compensation for inclusion in proxy statements;

4.Monitor executive, accounting, tax and other compensation-related laws and trends to ensure internal program compliance;

5.Monitor and work to increase the perceived value of the executive compensation offerings though effective communications and tools for executives, and senior management.

6.Serve as liaison with Benefits area for executive benefits;

7.Model financial impact of equity compensation plans;

8.Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for equity compensation programs;

9.May perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

Job Specifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred

•Certified Compensation Professional or willingness to pursue

•Minimum of 7 years of prior executive compensation experience; prior tax related experience preferred

•Must be able to work effectively with Finance and the Corporate Secretary’s office.

•Schedule flexibility is key, especially for critical projects

•Knowledge in Accounting, and Tax

•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Deals effectively with shifting priorities.

•Strong quantitative, written and oral communication skills – ability to interpret technical language into easily understood text

•Strong problem solving, analytical, statistical, mathematical, and project management skills.

•Strong computer skills, including demonstrated in depth expertise using spreadsheets, word processing and databases.

•Meets the standards for this position, as defined in the Talent Management framework.

• Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems and technologies to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management.
• Evaluate tools and new product releases. Research new features and engineering.
• Develop methods and processes for integrating different products so they work properly together.
• Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements.
• Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency.
• Perform capacity planning including allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements.

Acquisition & Deployment
• Participate in regional and worldwide projects (deployments).

• Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover.
• Restore and recover corrupted databases.

• Strong understanding of computer operating systems like Windows, Linux or Unix.
• Working knowledge of key system packages and utilities.
• Full lifecycle development of complex system and application software.
• Database performance and optimization experience with large databases utilizing SAN storage.
• 5+ years of experience in multi-server environments.
• Exposure to other RDBMS systems such as Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

 IT’S MORE THAN A JOB!  KellyOCG, a division of Kelly Services is looking for an individual who has the ability to act as a Sr. Recruiter to one of our largest clients in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. 

 You will drive the recruiting process, present a qualified slate of candidates to the Hiring Managers and ensure a positive candidate experience. 

You will also be responsible for driving business commitments such as service level agreements (SLA’s), compliance, diversity and quality.            

 

The Senior Recruiter will act as a senior level individual contributor. Will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting for a variety of disciplines in the Oil and Gas industry. This is an indefinite open-ended contract or potential direct hire opportunity.

Role consists of screening candidates for openings utilizing all sourcing tools to source qualified candidates.  This person must be able to identify and locate passive candidates & generate interest in client positions or pipeline requirements by researching various industries and functions to create a diverse pool of applicants.  This person also drives business commitments such as service level agreements (SLAs), compliance, diversity and quality.

Person will act as an ongoing consultant to the client on the recruiting process.  Must drive the recruiting process, present qualified candidates to the managers and ensure a positive experience for the candidates in the process.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing relationships with the HR community as well as with their assigned hiring managers.

In addition, they should be a subject matter expert (SME) in Oil & Gas recruiting, with specialized knowledge in the Oil & Gas industry.

This position will be onsite at our client facility in either Midland or Odessa, TX.

Major Duties:

• Has and will maintain accountability of the entire recruiting process as defined by the client

• Interfaces with the Hiring Managers, Human Resources and other key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction

• Consults with hiring manager and follows processes to achieve SLAs/metrics

• Leads initial consultations with hiring managers on requisition definition and potential sourcing strategies

• Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, cold-calling, job board utilization, etc.)

• Develops and implements sourcing strategies to find and attract desired passive candidates including advanced internet mining techniques

• Develops and maintains extensive and effective networks within professional associations and within the community to ensure a continuous flow of candidates

• Identifies, researches and initiates recruiting events

• Identifies and researches new innovative and creative sourcing methods

• Utilizes online social and professional networking sites to connect with potential passive candidates

• Develops and maintains a high volume of referrals and a strong candidate pipeline

• Effectively manages the internal applicant process

• Continuously “closes” qualified candidates and works to drive offer acceptance

• Leads the candidate through the hiring process to ensure a positive  experience and coaches each candidate appropriately at every stage of the process

• Screens, presents and “sells” qualified candidates to hiring managers

• Manages hiring managers expectations appropriately

• Leads and/or participates in sourcing projects

• Builds networks across all channels

• Demonstrates solid business knowledge in multiple industries and effective business acumen

• Executes accurate data capture and timely reporting on key staffing metrics

• Utilizes the client Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify potential candidates

• Maintains understanding and execution of diversity and quality requirements

Ensures compliance with legal and client regulations during identification and screening process

Minimum education required:  Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources or similar or equivalent work experience

Minimum years experience required:  5-8 years progressively responsible recruiting experience. 3+ years recruiting expertise in the Oil & Gas industry required.  Person must have demonstrated success in recruiting a variety of disciplines within the oil and gas industry.  4+ years robust sourcing experience including high level of proficiency with cold calling competitors, search string creation etc.

Technical:

• Must have experience in the Oil & Gas industry, recruiting a variety of positions

• Expertise in using advanced search techniques to generate  qualified and interested candidates

• Demonstrates expertise in generating talent through networking and creative sourcing methods

• Operational experience with at least one Applicant Tracking System preferred

• Accurate data capture and timely reporting on key staffing metrics in  ATS and/or other tracking mechanism

• Effectively manages a requisition load

• Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet
