[JimsJobs] Career Tips: Where's The Challenge?

What is one of the greatest values you bring to any job?

Your ability to solve challenges.

The better you do that, the more you will make it look like solving them is easy. Plus you will head them off earlier, before they become huge problems obvious to everyone.

That's the real problem - the better you are at this, the less the depth of your accomplishment is noticed. That being the case, how are you going to make sure you get full credit for all of those challenges you've solved?

First you need to dig deep and make sure you are truly cognizant yourself of all of the challenges, and their depth, in every significant accomplishment you have.

We often forget ourselves what challenges we faced, or at least forget to express them. Solving them becomes second nature, such that we don't even think much of them ourselves - it just comes naturally.
