In April 2013, SourceU will offer curriculum for two different levels of membership:

·        Professional Level & Leadership Level.

·        Day one, April 22, will be dedicated to the Professional Level curriculum

·        Day two, April 23, will be dedicated to the Leadership Level curriculum.

WHAT IS SOURCEU?

·        The Sourcing Institute is the first ever educational organization fully dedicated to the discipline of talent identification and engagement.

·        SourceU is a live workshop lead by the most widely recognized name in the industry, Shally Steckerl.

·        This two-day course is designed to prepare recruiters for the identification, attraction, and engagement of hard-to-find talent from unconventional sources.

·        With all of the higher education amenities and high-tech capabilities of a leading University setting, all of your needs are taken care of so you are free to focus and learn this critical skill.

 

Those who pass the final exam receive the TSI Certified Specialist designation.

Day 1 Morning Session "SourceU"

Sourcing Professional Search Sciences Modules

9:00am to 12:30pm

 

 

Natural Language Search: Apply the most advanced search techniques available to work on any database.

 

Building Custom Search Engines (Google CSE, Blekko, Gigablast):  

·        Create custom-saved search shortcuts that prompt for keywords so you don't have to memorize Boolean and other syntax;

·        Be more productive with the Favorites and other toolbars, automated search engine alerts, and custom Google search engines.

 

 

Day 1 Afternoon Session "SourceU"

Sourcing Professional Social Recruiting Modules

Advanced Facebook Search & Marketing: 

·        Facebook was not built with search in mind. In this course you will learn how to get around the built-in obstacles and be able to conduct skill-based searches for prospects.

·        Search content within Facebook and from external sources for name generation and competitive intelligence.

·        Connect with people otherwise unreachable. Includes a guide to search tools for recruiters. 

 

Advanced Twitter Search & Marketing: 

·        Having a Twitter account is not necessary in order to benefit from this course.

·        Apply Twitter-specific syntax to search methods and techniques.

·        Search content within Twitter and from external sources for name generation and competitive intelligence.

·        Through Twitter you can reveal the names of people at companies, the tools they work with, learn about industry trends, find attendees at conferences, and connect with people otherwise unreachable.

·        Includes a guide to advanced search operators for recruiting with secret commands, of which we have discovered.

·        Build a list of people to follow and get recommendations on free Twitter applications that are best for recruiters.

·        Understand how to leverage groups and multipleaccount management.

·       Apply the right tools to evaluate the advantages and challenges to outsourcing your research efforts on the one hand, and building your sourcing team internally on the other;

·        Effectively estimate cost and time savings, productivity increases, and avoid mishaps such as sourcing directly from a sensitive client or customer.

 

Extreme Optimization of Sourcing Effectiveness - How to get Sourcing and Recruitment working well together: 

·       With today's turbulent talent marketplace constraints, effectiveness only delivers average results.

·        The extreme optimization of existing recruitment teams is required in order to establish talent identification practices that yield a virtuous cycle of sustainable competitive advantages.

·        This advanced module shows leaders how to conduct an ingenious and innovative diagnostic to identify their team's development path and ways for them to improve how they work together.

Working Remotely and Managing Virtual Teams:

Learn how to evaluate yourself and your teams for working remotely effectively and learn the pros, cons, and major factors for success from the best configurations for home offices.
