The Demand Generation Manager will help to grow GuideSpark sales by delivering effective programs using the latest techniques and tools. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and working closely with the Sales organization, the Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and measuring demand generation programs, and developing marketing and sales tools. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving projects from concept to implementation and has a proven track record of delivering successful lead-generation campaigns and other marketing programs and events.
Responsibilities:
Demand Generation
• Plan, create, deliver, and manage demand generation campaigns using e-mail, newsletter, content syndication, online advertising, and events designed to capture and nurture prospects
• Work closely with inside sales to report and optimize the effectiveness of these programs
• Collaborate with sales to develop campaign narratives, messaging, offers, tactics, and schedules
• Analyze pipeline and interface with account teams to develop vertical-based or territory-based lead generation programs
• Work with partners and customers to create joint-marketing programs that attract new prospects
Product Marketing Support
• Assist with the creation and deployment of rich, domain-specific content including web pages, videos, demos, blog posts, tweets, podcasts, and other marketing collateral
Events
• Drive event calendar and execution, including tradeshows, meet-ups, luncheons, and seminars
• Manage on-site execution of Shows and Events by communicating requirements, plans, timelines, and expectations to team and service providers
• Meet with internal and external service providers (for example, hotels, security, decorators, audio-visual) to exchange information; ensuring availability of resources; touring and inspecting facilities; creating, distributing, and reviewing progress reports
• Conduct meetings with team and resource providers
• Monitor show and event set-up and training
• Collaborate with service providers regarding scheduled shows and events
• Identifying and resolve implementation issues
Requirements:
• 5+ years of related experience, preferably in lead generation/management for a B2B SaaS company
• Proven experience using Marketo and experience with Salesforce.com to capture, track, and report on leads
• Knowledge of e-mail marketing best practices, and experience in media buying and list building
• Understanding of and experience in B2B lead-to-sales process and buying stages with a process-based approach to lead management
• Metrics driven and results oriented, with demonstrated analytical skills
• A self-starter with attention to detail and strong follow-through capabilities
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under deadlines
• Team player with a strong "customer-focus" orientation and excellent project management and communications skills
