We have an opening for a Marketing Manager in San Jose, CA who will support three key business units within the Move network of sites: realtor.com� Rentals, Moving.com and SeniorHousingNet. The candidate will support the Marketing leads on each of these businesses, and will focus primarily on sales enablement, including development of marketing collateral, competitive research and analysis, and event logistics and support. Additionally, there may be opportunity to engage in Consumer Marketing initiatives around support of these products.
The successful candidate will be an energetic marketer who loves a challenge and enjoys working with sales teams, advertising and digital media. The marketer will have experience working in a sales enablement function, preferably in consumer technology, consumer services or other mass markets.
The candidate will work directly with senior leaders in the Marketing group to create and execute integrated marketing initiatives that build awareness, drive revenue and provide sales enablement for Move�s ad products. The Marketing Manager will work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Creative Services, Events, PR, Legal and Finance to execute on a variety of programs and projects.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

Support of B2B Marketing

The candidate will possess an understanding of the advertising product marketplace and how customers buy solutions in order to accomplish their objectives. The candidate will need to understand the evolving mindset of our customers and how the move toward mobile has affected the business landscape, and their decisions. The candidate will support the Marketing lead for each business unit, and will liaison directly with channel managers within the Marketing organization to deliver high-quality, compelling sales enablement materials.

Presentations and Research
The candidate will have experience gathering relevant data and developing presentations and marketing collateral that position the company in a positive light, including the latest research (internal or third-party) that the Sales team can use to customize their own presentations to clients. As we conduct any customer or audience research for these businesses, the candidate may support the internal research team and outside researcher as needed. Additionally, the candidate will conduct ongoing research and analysis around competitor messaging, positioning, brand/creative and advertising media efforts.

Overall Scope of Responsibilities:

Develop sales and marketing collateral and presentations that are flexible and modular; manage updates on a regular basis.
Leverage sales and marketing tools to identify relevant data and insights for use in positioning and collateral. Experience with comScore, @Plan, eMarketer required. Experience with Omniture, Google Analytics and Nielsen are strongly desired.
Collaborate with Marketing channel managers and cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Analytics and Legal to achieve program objectives.
Oversee Advertising web destination(s) and update to reflect latest positioning and news.
Engage with partners on Events team to ensure brand consistency, quality and positioning at trade and customer events.
This position may require travel between offices and other locations for trade events as needed.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 3-5 years of experience in online advertising/sales enablement and/or campaign management experience. A Bachelor�s degree and experience with Internet services and products is required.

The candidate will have an aptitude for both traditional and new media (blogs, social networks, mobile apps and advertising, etc.). He or she will have worked in companies where advertising sales is an important part of the revenue mix.

The candidate will love the work � and love doing the work in a team environment, in a fast paced, highly competitive industry. He or she must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, highly organized and an effective written and verbal communicator. A zest for learning is a big plus.

Finally, the person will possess unimpeachable ethics and be 100% straightforward in all dealings inside and outside the company.
