Job Title:

Chief Data HA Architect, Corporate HA Competence Center

Responsibilities:

Identify critical industry trends, technologies and competitive threats, and formulate the plan to stay in the lead through internal development or partnership. Guide technologies roadmaps and strategic directions. Develop and drive winning strategies for handling key and emerging opportunities including end-to-end data HA for databases, storage and virtual environments
Lead the high availability framework / architecture design for Big Data application and storage
Innovate and develop technologies that enhance high availability for relevant Big Data application and storage products
Develop and drive the organization and storage of data to achieve high availability with online fault monitoring, diagnostic, isolation, and fast recovery
Lead and drive the architecture and development of high availability cluster and distributed systems

Qualifications:

10+ years of experiences in the design and development of products in the following related area: IT storage, database, or cloud computing
Experience in the design and development of filesystem, or unified storage
Experience in the design and development of Linux kernel and user space applications
Experience in the design and development of cluster or distributed systems
Experience in Oracle database is preferred
Experience in the design and development of layered, modular system framework is preferred
Experience in system availability (HA), reliability, and serviceability is preferred
