Corporate Counsel, Commercial Transactions | Wind River Systems, Inc.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate a wind range of technology agreements, including in-bound and out-bound software licenses, professional services agreements and statements of work, strategic alliance agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Work closely with internal clients such as Wind River sales, services, product marketing, finance, engineering, and other internal teams to implement legal policies and advise on a wide variety of issues.
- Develop process-related improvements to facilitate and increase the efficiency of the provision of legal services.
- Special projects as requested.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be an active member of California Bar with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating software licenses and other commercial transactions, in either a top tier law firm or in a mature in-house corporate setting
- Experience working in a cross-department, cross-functional role requiring good client relationship skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as superior time-management and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to handle difficult situations, multiple projects, and solve problems creatively in a fast paced work setting
- Be able to clearly communicate with all levels of management and outside counsel
- Have excellent business and legal judgment
