Position/Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Location: Fort Riley, Kansas
Position reports to: Operations Manager, Corporate Office
Qualifications:
2 Yrs. Military Support Operations Experience
4 Yrs. Leadership or Staff Experience
ISO 9001 Experience
3 Yrs. of directly-relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
Knowledge of ISO principles, protocols, policies, procedures and Lean Six Sigma principles
Ability to define work performance standards and define and apply metrics to measure quality
performance against established quality standards
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services (i.e., customer needs
assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,
conclusion or approaches to problems.
Responsibilities:
Develops and monitors contract’s quality control program.
Operates independently of task order production to provide an objective evaluation of the
effectiveness of ALOG’s QC program, reporting directly to top corporate management.
Validates ISO policies and procedures, ensuring compliance for continual process improvement
within the project.
Outlines and reports against the program’s objectives and assesses performance indicators. Develops
and implements quality control metrics and methodologies for the assessment of contract
performance.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Technology or Management
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
SECRET Clearance Required
Physical environment/working conditions:
The position is in an office environment and could involve sitting, standing and walking throughout the day. Must be able to work as part of a team, acceptably manage customer contact, and treat all company information as proprietary.
