As a Partner Development Representative (PDR), you are an integral part of the Channel Sales team, responsible for sales and partner recruitment activities within Intermedia�s Partner programs and a liaison between internal groups for Support, Onboarding, and Customer Service. This role includes participation in trade shows, partner events, and occasional travel for business related meetings. Onsite office presence is required 9am-6pm.
Specific Responsibilities:
The Partner Development team prospects, develops, and nurtures Intermedia�s Private Label and Advisor Partner base as well as prospective partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner recruitment and sign-up
- Ongoing partner account management, including proactive sales efforts.
- Partner Sales Enablement training
- Sales and partner portal training
- Pricing assistance
- Branding set up on the partner portal (not including custom URL)
- Account creation assistance and walk through
- Answering �
--Email (direct sales, resellers and partner relations channels)
-- Calls from both existing and new prospect partners
-- Live person chat from our website
Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of professional inside sales experience.
- Prior Direct IT B2B sales experience.
- Channel experience, working with VARs, MSPs etc.
- Proven ability to exceed quota, develop relationships.
- Great phone and follow-up skills.
- Comfort with use of Webex or other online methods for demos.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM
Years of Experience Educational requirements:
- B.S. or B.A. degree
- At least 2 years of professional inside sales experience.
