[JIMSJOBS] MY CLIENT NEEDS Net Developer in Dallas, TX

 

– 4-6 months contract – H1’s ok – need locals – Downtown Dallas, TX - $55 c2c – in-person interview needed.

 

Our DFW client is seeking a few strong Developers that will be helping our client to implement new regulatory requirements in their systems. This involves changing existing websites, web services and data models to implement new regulatory requirements of the market and build any new web services to support new business functionality. 

This .Net Developer will have the ability to quickly understand existing systems and modify existing applications to support new functionality. Proficiency in C# (or equivalent) programming,  SQL programming and data modelling and web programming (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Use SDIII job description if more details are requested.

Physical Attendance is a requirement for this job.

This would be a work onsite role with a company and is located in downtown Dallas 1 block from Dart Rail stop and has their own FREE parking.

The client site offers: game room, Dual 24” monitors, Lounge areas and open patios

The environment has teams with dedicated (QA, BA, PM, Developer Ops, Leads, and Developers).

Skills

frameworks (Open Source) and UML

Technologies Preferred: WCF, MVC, Web Services, Node.js, RESTful Services, Single Page Applications NHibernate and jQuery

Preferred Skills: NOT REQUIRED

  • 1+ years of Agile/Scrum experience
  • Requirement Analysis skills
  • Knowledge of OOP, OOAD

Job Duties:

  • Analyzes, develops, unit tests and document code in order to meet business requirements
  • Attends sprint planning, sprint review and daily scrum meetings.
  • Assists Production Support Analysts and ensure that all Ambit Production environments within the team’s domain are supported as needed
  • Works with DevOps, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and DBAs to ensure code is working according to business needs and properly checked-in/merges following established procedures
  • Promotes and upholds Ambit coding standards and practices code delivery that is scalable and easily maintainable
  • May work with the Team Lead as a Software Architect and technical lead in delivering quality software solutions for a specific Business Unit of Ambit Energy
  • May work with other Team Leads, Teams, QA and Project Managers to meet company goals
  • Stays abreast of the latest technologies and relevant coding techniques and applies them when possible
  • Work with Monitoring and Infrastructure departments to ensure business processes are properly monitored and supported
  • Experience building software solutions with C#, T-SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using Visual Studio 2013, TFS 2013, and SQL Server 2012.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, databases and open source software as well as the ability to mentor the team on these technologies
  • Analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Experience working with distributed solutions and service oriented architectures
  • Experience with all aspects of an application lifecycle – analysis, high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, testing (unit/system), and support
  • Strong attention to detail, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
  • 3 years of software development experience
  • Must be self-motivated person and able to complete work without support
