Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Demand Generation Program Manager for a 32-week project supporting our client in San Ramon, CA. The Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of five demand generation campaigns targeting the Small/Medium Business audience. This assignment will run from March – October 2015, with the first campaign launching in May. Each campaign will include list management with an external database organization, timeline management with a direct marketing agency, creative and production teams, creative review and approval cycle management with client stakeholders, brand teams and legal teams. The Program Manager will also need to align key messages between campaigns and track all customer call-to-action expectations to deliver the desired customer journey through email, direct mail and telemarketing efforts.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the timelines and work-back schedules to ensure list management, production teams and campaign delivery are running on time and within budget. The program manager will also support the collection and delivery of metrics and backend reporting for each campaign and marketing piece, as required to deliver recommendations for refinement to decision makers.
Desired experience:
Previous experience working with creative directors, list management teams, and agency teams from different companies all contributing to the same direct marketing campaign with multiple mail drops
Effective communicator who can diplomatically highlight risks and gaps to the team when deadlines are in danger of not being met
Strategic planner who can shepherd multiple variables to completion for a holistic campaign delivery and positive customer experience
Experience working with marketing brand guidelines and templates when developing a new campaign for a large enterprise company
Prior experience conducting weekly status meetings to maintain open communication and alignment within the campaign team
Good listener and problem solver with an optimistic attitude; when challenges are brought to the table, you rise to the occasion with ideas to minimize campaign risk
Solid collaborator who stays aligned to the business goals while seeking input from various members of the team to ensure optimal contribution from all areas of expertise
Soft skills Prioritized Skill Set:
5+ years' direct marketing/demand generation campaign management
B2B campaign experience; preferably targeting small/medium business customers
Silverpop marketing software experience; must be comfortable setting up and managing campaigns in Silverpop
Experienced lead who is able to bring people together to share ideas to encourage participation and a sense of ownership to quality output
Cool under pressure in the delivery of multiple priorities on tight deadlines
Excellent program management skills with the ability to get things done quickly and smoothly
Experience testing and optimizing edit content and offers
Strong Demand generation base knowledge and best practices for B2B organizations
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, verbal and written
Bachelor degree required
