The National Consumer Panel is an operational joint venture between the two leading longitudinal consumer insights providers in the United States – IRi and Nielsen. By recruiting, incenting, and equipping a representative sample of U.S. consumers with handheld scanning devices as well as alternative methods of data collection, the National Consumer Panel provides the highest quality, actionable consumer data to support the needs of both IRi and Nielsen. This consumer data is the raw material that powers the insights and solutions that IRi and Nielsen individually delivers to their respective clients.
Title: Project Specialist, Hispanic Panel
Objective: Perform operational tasks associated with supporting activities related to the National Consumer Panel Hispanic Panel. Work closely with the Nielsen Media Research Field team in supporting their needs in order to perform successful panelist recruitment.
Accountabilities:
Nielsen Hispanic Homescan Consumer Panel
* Work with NMR, (Nielsen Media Research) to ensure successful maintenance of the local markets supported for the NCP Hispanic Panel as it relates to sample design, panelist recruitment and panelist participation.
* Monitor active counts per market to ensure target count is met.
* Monitor panelist transmission rates to ensure a 72% average rate is met.
* Oversee the procurement and distribution of necessary supplies such as scanner equipment, instruction materials, scanner supplies, etc.
* Oversee the procurement and distribution of panelist incentives.
* Maintain Hispanic communications such as newsletters, store lists, surveys, IVR's, annual gift catalog and demographic updates.
* Work with the NCP Panel Support Center to manage callouts and support panelist inquiries.
* Perform monthly Hispanic Panel budget reconciliations as well as quarterly budget re-forecasts
* Perform necessary testing on the NCP Hispanic Mobile Application
* Perform ad hoc initiative sizings when needed
Requirements:
Knowledge:
· Proficient with various computer applications; knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
Skills:
* Fluent in Spanish (a plus)
* Familiar with Panel recruitment and maintenance
* Strong oral/written communication skills
* Managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and results oriented
· Possesses a great attitude, professionalism, high level of energy, enthusiasm
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent or related work experience
o Two year Associates degree preferred.
· Experience organizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Experience dealing with outside vendors
· Panel experience preferred
· Experience managing a budget and/or financial tracking preferred
