Job Description
Sr SW Systems Engineer (Pro*C, SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Forms are a must have for this position) to join our team of professionals in our 401K Retirement Services Systems area.
The Sr SW Systems Engineer will perform development functions in association with industry standard SDLC from Requirements gathering through Development, Implementation, and support.
Requirements:
· BS in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years experience in the field is required
· A minimum of 5 years of software development experience
· STRONG Experience with Pro*C, PL/SQL
· Experience with Oracle Forms is desired
· Experience with JAVA/J2EE programming is a plus
· Experience with a relational database query language such as Oracle SQL
· UNIX (Solaris)
· Shell Programming (C-shell, KORN Shell) and PERL
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
· Design experience
Responsibilities:
· Follows SDLC as key portions of the software development lifecycle
· The majority of this role will concentrate on development and support of functionality within the core applications for the FASCore retirement plan record keeping system
· Must be willing to participate in team production support on-call responsibilities as well as development on team maintenance tasks.
· Must be willing to act as a Work Manager (project management)
