Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Data Center Copy Manager Consultant to work 100% remotely for one of our technology clients. The Copy Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent Data Center messaging and company brand voice in targeted sales enablement collateral. With a team of Copywriters, the Copy Manager will review and revise copy drafts, engage with subject matter experts, and manage the copy review and approval process. Candidacy for this assignment requires proven experience in writing sales enablement and marketing materials for the Data Center market, with an overall understanding of the enterprise B2B technology market.
The ideal candidate is a confident, flexible driver with exceptional interpersonal skills who exceeds at managing a team to successfully deliver against multiple, concurrent deadlines. Samples of marketing/sales enablement content spanning Cloud, Collaboration, and IoE are required for consideration.
Responsibilities:
Interface with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information to develop benefits-driven/persuasive copy targeting Cloud, Collaboration and IoE. Strong knowledge of Enterprise networking is always a plus
Serve as the expert in Data Center messaging and act as the liaison between a team of writers, business units and subject matter experts (SMEs)
Define/refine Data Center messaging, review all content from writing team to ensure messaging and brand language consistency
Ensure copy tone and style are reflective of the client brand voice
Manage time lines and drive projects to completion
Skills:
7+ years' combined experience as a Copy Manager/Content Manager/Copywriter within the Fortune 500 technology industry (B to B)
Strong background in writing and editing sales enablement/marketing copy
Experience and samples of copywriting for the Data Center market required
Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills. Must have an exceptional grasp of grammar, syntax and style.
Ability to analyze complex ideas and communicate them in a clear and concise manner to all target audiences
Experience in managing multiple direct reports
Confident, diplomatic and credible presence for partnering with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to work collaboratively, but diplomatically push back when needed
Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, PR or similar required. Masters' degree preferred
Rate: D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: 100% fully remote/offsite/virtual/WFH/telecommute
Hours/Duration: Full time project based consulting, March 17 – April 24, 2015. No phone calls please.
