Global Brand Identity Project Manager, Retail Packaging--Temp

Description:
Responsible for managing the design production, project management and execution of retail packaging to support Logitech's brand identity.

Serve as the primary interface between internal marketing groups and design agencies by synthesizing product communication objectives with brand requirements to create highly effective packaging and/or photography. Coordinate and communicate project workflow, client direction and project post-mortems in line with current packaging process.

This position will require very close interaction with corporate business units and regional sales and marketing teams to satisfy all Global Corporate Brand Identity and Product Marketing objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage packaging graphic development from concept through completion.
Manage packaging photography, design and pre-press vendor relationships and design development through agency partners.
Ensure consistency, quality of messaging and accurate positioning of all projects
Conduct editorial review of package copy to support the Logitech brand voice.
Manage all aspects of creative development and print production, including strategic direction, copywriting, proofreading and editing, sourcing vendors and reviewing proofs.
Work collaboratively with internal clients to deliver packaging solutions that meet business objectives, assure high quality and are on message, schedule and budget.
Serve as brand champion: Ensure that work produced supports the Logitech brand.


Education/Experience:
Three plus years of consumer packaging experience is mandatory.
Bachelor'sdegree in marketing plus a minimum of five years relevant experience.
Previous experience in the consumer electronics industry a plus.


Skills:
Understanding of retail packaging processes and structures, graphic design, pre-press, and printing.
Solid knowledge of Project Management practices.
Experience managing photographers, graphic designers, vendor relationships, budgets, and production schedules effectively.
Team player who is self-directed, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task in order to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.
Creative thinker who is diplomatic, resourceful, and has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite, as well as with marketing operations and digital asset management systems. Familiarity with desktop publishing software preferred.
Familiarity with managing/planning photography, traditional or digital photography a plus.
