SEO Manager (Senior)
Credit Sesame is seeking for an innovative, passionate and strategic SEO expert with proven track record and exceptional results. In this role, the SEO manager will be responsible for applying best practices for search engine optimization to the site architecture, on page content as well off page optimization through link building.
SEO manager will be in charge of developing Credit Sesame's public site from ground up, expanding landing pages, creating calculators and widgets, leveraging the blog to drive organic traffic and external link building strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Optimize CMS and site code for SEO best practices
• Leverage only the white hat SEO techniques
• Create and organize site architecture and URL syntax
• Develop and execute on keyword and landing page strategy
• Continuously evaluate site architecture and code to recommend improvements
• Work and manage writers to build blog and landing pages for the main site
• Develop dynamic, internal cross linking and external link building strategies
• Conduct keyword research, prioritize landing page build out
• Develop a technical SEO strategy including, landing page structure, tags, etc.
• Build relationships with bloggers and leverage social media for effective SEO results
• Develop scalable long tail keyword strategy and optimize for converting landing pages
• Report and track SEO results, including rankings and traffic
• Use necessary tools such as Google Webmaster tools and Yahoo site Explorer to ensure the site is crawled and indexed frequently
• Research latest trends and stay up to date with the internet marketing industry
• Competence and willingness to multitask under pressure and tight deadlines
Job Qualifications
• 5+ years in SEO and product management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently with little supervision
• Must have in keyword research, content creation, link building, and title/meta tag creation for SEO Strategy
• Willing to learn of how to obtain high organics search listings
• Strong Writing Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must have strong project management and organizational skills
• WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools
• Proficient in HTML, PHP, MYSQL, CSS, Javascript
