Job Description- Associate Account Executive
Engage PR is looking for an organized and energetic team member to act as an Associate Account Executive to join their Alameda-based team! Engage PR is a premier public relations agency whose creativity, experience and passion build mindshare for technology companies at all stages of growth. The Associate Account Executive (AAE) plays a leadership role in each account teams' media and analyst relations, client relations, writing and editing, digital media activities and press/trade show tour coordination. An AAE typically has responsibility for guiding and mentoring Account Coordinators (ACs) and Interns.
Skills
Key skills for the Associate Account Executive candidate include the ability to:
• Serve as a primary client contact with the proven ability to add strategic value to client interactions and drive activities through completion
• Multitask across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline
• Demonstrate success with digital and social media techniques
• Develop and nurture media and analyst relationships
• Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Quickly grasp new technologies and account duties
• Mentor and assist entry-level team members
Requirements for the Associate Account Executive position include:
• A bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 2-3 years' experience in PR agencies or corporate communications (At least one year of agency experience is a plus)
• Experience and knowledge of tech PR
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Desire to keep learning and advance within the agency
