Alliances Program Manager (Contractor)

We are looking for an experienced individual with exceptional program management skills and strong background in alliance marketing to join our Storage Solutions client's alliance team. This individual will be an integral part of the global team focused on alliance activities with 2 key partners.

This is a year-long, 40 hour per week, contractor role as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Work will be performed in the client's office in the South Bay, CA.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Manage and track client and partner activities across product development, sales enablement & marketing.
• Direct cross functional, cross-organizational team to execute one year operational plan
• Work collaborative across the client and partner constituencies to maximize impact of the alliance.

In addition, this individual will be a champion for the alliance inside the client, they will be involved in planning, marketing and sales enablement activities, be in touch with the needs of the partners, and be proactive in identifying ways we can grow and enhance the alliance activities to increase impact in the marketplace.

Essential Functions:
• Generate a combined view of alliance operations across development, HQ and field marketing teams
• Manage one year execution plan, including communications, results & metrics.
o Monitor project deliverables to ensure timely and consistent delivery of activities globally
o Maintain project dashboard of milestone and deliverable status
o Publish action items, decisions, and issues; communicate program status on a regular basis
o Approval and review cycle management and tracking.
o Mange executive meetings and business reviews with Alliance partner
• Develop audience based communications about joint partner activities and oversee communications calendar across various teams
• Work closely with corporate communications and initiative team to rollout global awareness and demand generation programs.
• Work collaboratively with global and strategic alliance managers in the Alliances team
• Responsible for closed loop communications - define improvement areas and put plan in place to address these
- Regular reporting of progress against one year operations plan goals
- Manage budget for the alliance

Requirements
• 10+ years minimum experience working on technology or alliance partner programs
• Prior management and development of alliance program activities in support of sales goals
• Prior work experience teaming with product development, sales and marketing groups to include partners in joint solutions and programs.
• Prior work experience with partners to market join solutions.
• Prior experience in identifying ways to grow and enhance alliance partnerships
• College degree in Marketing or Business required, MBA preferred

Skills:
• Proven project management and communications skills.
• Organized, process oriented, and able to multitask.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Proactive self-starter who can manage virtual teams and keep projects on schedule.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization globally, including remote areas.
• Experience with metrics and reporting
