Responsibilities:
The Sr. Inside Sales Account Executive will sell Enterprise Application Software primarily via the phone, the web, and email. Work with internal eGain personnel in sales, pre-sales, and professional services in selling prospects. Travel on occasion to customer sites to close deals as each person will cover a geographic area.
- Build rapport with prospects over the phone
- Discover prospect needs through use of a questionnaire and phone/email interviews
- Demonstrate solutions and products via WEBEX type service
- Educate the prospect on the benefits of the eGain solution
- Prepare proposals and price quotations
Qualifications:
- Build rapport with prospects over the phone
- Experience as a technical trainer, pre-sales engineer or product support specialist for enterprise application software. Minimum of 5 years.
- Bachelors degree in technical area (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics etc)
- Excellent understanding of and aptitude for computer and software technology
- Superb phone and email communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal, written and in-person presentation)
- Proven ability to coordinate resources from various functional departments to sell prospects (Pre-sales, Professional Services, Training etc.)
