Job Title: Business Intelligence Senior ETL Developer

Location: San Francisco

Duration: 6 months to hire

The IT Business Intelligence Team is looking for Senior hands-on BI developer who has deep experience with BI technologies, to design, develop, test, and tune ETL, and related infrastructure solutions. Participate in ensuring proper technical architecture, design and documentation, as well as help diagnose production systems issues to identify causes in software. Participate in enhancing processes for ETL design, source code control, unit testing, and defect management. Participate in planning of development projects. BI infrastructure is made up of Business Objects (Webi, Deski, Data Integrator), PLSQL, Shell/Perl scripts, and SPSS

MUST-HAVE’S:

· 7+ years of experience in BI, DWH.

· Experience with at least one major ETL tool (i.e. Informatica, Ab Initio, etc).

· Strong database experience (incl. SQL, tuning, etc.), Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Analytic functions, Sql Loader

· Large data volume experience

· Linux/Shell scripting expertise

· Independent, self-motivated team player.

· Meticulous and methodical in creating solutions.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the business and technical communities.

· US work authorization required.

· Experience and advanced understanding of relational and data warehouse DBMS environment.

- Complex data warehouse architecture (incl. analysis, design, and implementation).

- Star schema, snowflaking, slowly changing dimensions, aggregate table design and navigation, operational data stores, data marts, etc.

PLUSSES:

· SOA/Soap/XML

· Data modeling experience - Advanced with 5 - 7 years of experience.

· Experience with Reporting/analytical applications (esp. Business Objects, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.).

· Experience with Business Objects SDK .

· Agile Software Development Methodology

· Production Support Experience
