Job Title: Visual/Web designer
Term: Full Time
Job Description:
We need an accomplished visual/UI designer to be responsible for our San Francisco Startup client's web site and work closely with our product development teams to build a polished look and feel for their mobile and web applications.
As the person responsible for our client´s web presence, you´ll work closely with marketing and engineering to ensure that the web site clearly communicates with users.
As the person responsible for visual brand image, you´ll work to ensure consistency across our phone, tablet, and desktop applications.
As a member of the product team, you´ll help develop new ways to work with everyday data and help millions of users be more productive every day.
Some of the things you´ll do will include:
Develop a deep, empathetic understanding of users
Create iterative, lightweight prototypes to user scenarios
Define and communicate user interface interactions and requirements through use cases, user stories, page flows, task analysis, wireframes, and ultimately full mockups
Track and analyze user-behavior metrics; define new metrics when necessary to support our goals
Help plan and support user research and testing excercises, including heuristic evaluations, usability testing, A/B testing, surveys and focus groups. Analyze the results to make recommendations and execute appropriate interface changes
Required Skills:
5+ years experience as an interaction designer, user experience designer
Thorough understanding of web technologies
BA/BS or MA/MS in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors or related field
Experience in data-driven A/B testing a must
Experience with end-user usability testing is a plus
Experience with visual design is a plus
