Operations Analyst

Our client is a privately held, leading enterprise software solution provider in the business information management field, with hundreds of customers. Our client is seeking an Operations Analyst who will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation, benefits and HRIS systems. Additionally, this individual will work with the Director of Human Resources to implement and maintain a performance management system and establish specific HR policies and procedures for the company. 
 
If you are an independent, curious, hands-on, highly-motivated HR administration expert with proven experience in working with comprehensive compensation and benefit programs, and you enjoy challenges and experiences of a fast-paced, start-up environment, then this is the role for you!  Major responsibilities include:

Participate in the administration of a variety of compensation programs and processes, including incentive compensation, annual salary planning, and recognition programs
Oversee the general HR processes for new hires and separations
Review and recommend processes and procedures related to all stages of the employee lifecycle
Review and recommend outsourcing options for HR processes as necessary
Develop custom reports and analyze data from reports to identify trends; make recommendations where applicable
Ensure compliance of compensation/benefit programs with company compensation philosophy, financial goals and government regulations
Assist in creating, preparing for presentation and rolling out of new and revised compensation plans including management incentive and sales compensation plans
Maintain ADP system including system administration tools, internal system setup, process development, and a variety of rules and data
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee data; conduct periodic audits and recommend/draft processes to gain efficiencies and increase accuracy of the data
Work with and direct benefits broker to administer assigned benefits programs
Coordinate employee leaves of absence
Coordinate or assist with significant benefits activities such as open enrollment, wellness programs, and implementing and communicating benefits program design changes
Participate in employee relations activities, policy / procedure development and roll-out, and various other HR activities and projects as necessary
Participate in special projects and create ad-hoc analysis for management and Human Resources required
Answer employee questions and resolve problems related to compensation and benefits

Requirements:
Must have 3-5 years experience in an HR organization administering the systems and processes for HR services and activities (separations, LOA's, general policies, benefits, compensation, compliance, reporting, etc.)
Solid experience with HRIS systems (including implementation, job coding, workflow, verifications, compliance reporting, etc.)
Ability to take initiative and execute in a fast-moving, start-up environment with limited resources and growing infrastructure
Strong technical skills: Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BA or BS degree required
