The Role: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Northern Los Angeles
Our organization, a manufacturer of microelectronics for the Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Telecommunications industries, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial executive. With consistent sales growth of more than 20% annually for the last decade, we are poised for continued rapid and profitable growth and are searching for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to serve as a strategic and operational business partner to the Chief Executive Officer.
The Chief Financial Officer will work as a trusted and strategic business advisor to our CEO and Leadership Team. They will lead the financial function of our highly successful and rapidly growing organization and provide forecasting, budgeting and reporting. They will lead the Due Diligence process and negotiations during acquisitions. The Chief Financial Officer will provide and promote financial strength through clearly developed goals and objectives. They will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar; CPA, MBA preferred
15 years of business experience with at least 10 years management in a cost accounting MANUFACTURING environment; Lean or continuous improvement background looked upon favorably
Track record of success in leading financial planning and management in a fast-paced, results-focused business
History of progressive advancement throughout career
Experience leading or participating on a leadership team during sizeable and rapid expansion, including acquisitions, resulting in significant growth; due diligence experience required
Military accounting awareness and understanding of government and defense sector contracting a plus
Ability to lead with vision and purpose; experience managing a team of five or more people including managerial level employees
Experience utilizing or implementing ERP systems (i.e. Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, or similar)
Strongly analytical, with ability to understand and address complex financial and business issues and understand the "big picture"
Disciplined work ethic and high standard of excellence; team-player with ability to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and building of teams
