Our client works directly with internal/external clients and prospects in assigned geographical locations to further establish our company as a thought-leader in the digital marketing arena. This role acts as a key revenue driver for the Professional Services organization and has strong ties to the success of our company as a whole.  The Sr. Digital Marketing Strategist will drive and achieve success through a variety of disciplines and efforts as aligned with the following: 
 
-Support Sales and Account Management in reaching aggressive sales growth goals through proactive participation with all necessary and appropriate internal organizations 
-Establish, develop and grow strategic relationships with existing customer base as assigned
-Drive client strategy while identifying new opportunities for the client to expand the relationship within both Professional Services and our company as a whole
-Maintain responsibility, ownership and quality for all assigned client engagements as driven by project plans, scopes of work and gratis requests 
-Perform detailed programmatic performance analysis for clients and prospects as necessary - resulting in actionable recommendations for program optimization and continued improvement
-Partner with Account Management in the coordination of all project schedules as necessary and relevant to projects and retainers in progress 
-Act as industry thought leader and expert regarding a variety of online marketing topics including creative, deliverability, data hygiene, segmentation and mining, social approach and application as well as privacy matters
-Develop and present online marketing best practices and tactical recommendations to internal and external clients, including the industry at-large via article authoring, webinar presentations, road show and work shop participation, blogs and social communities, associations and speaking opportunities including seminars and trade shows
 
Job Requirements
-Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills (including experience in data mining and modeling) 
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively produce professional reports and present to senior-level executives within client organizations
-Strong project management and interpersonal communication abilities with excellent attention to detail 
-A self described passion for online and email marketing founded on a solid understanding of direct marketing principles, reporting, tracking and research techniques 
-High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
-Self-motivated, team oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines 
-Firm understanding of HTML
 
Educational Requirements
-4-year BA or BS degree (preferably in Advertising or Marketing with exposure to Business Management, Economics, Statistics or other related coursework) 
-A minimum of five years of email marketing experience and demonstrated expertise in any of the following industry verticals: financial services, retail, travel and hospitality, business-to-business technology, consumer services and/or consumer packaged goods
