Qualifications:
The Sr. Data Architect will be an outstanding individual familiar with all aspects of Data modeling, ETL design, coding, and product level deployment. He/she must be an established and driven person who brings a wealth of experience with building Architectures with SaaS Multi-Tennant Data and Application development teams. The candidate should have strong background in ETL tools, data architecture, and Oracle environment running in Linux. The candidate is most likely currently Sr. Data or Application team lead with extensive experience for a SaaS company or a BI/Analytics division of a larger company. The job is in our San Francisco office.

Required Technical Expertise:
Strong database expertise Design, Performance, Availability, Security, Recoverability.
Strong Data Warehouse expertise Design, Schema, ETL vs. ELT, Data Mart
Understanding of analytics, OLAP & ROLAP
Strong architectural knowledge of Mult-Tennant databases and applications.
Strong application engineering experience in designing Information/Analytics, highly scalable and available systems
Experience in designing and developing Database components using Oracle, PL/SQL, Perl, and Java/OR
Experience in using data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, DataStage, Cast Iron
Development experience in designing and developing large scale database application
Experience with designing and developing application that uses In Memory database.
Designing and developing application using open source ORM frameworks like Hibernate and other DB interfaces like JDBC.
Designing and refactoring DB systems for performance
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
8 + years building large scale enterprise and distributed applications
Proven track record in lead and architect position for 6+ years

He/she must be an established and driven person who brings ETL and Data Architecture credibility to our seasoned engineering team. The candidate should have strong background in ETL tools, data architecture, and Oracle environment running in Linux. Required Experience:
Over 6-7 years ETL development background with Informatica PowerCenter 8 and 9
Experienced in best practices design of ETL implementations in a high volume environment, including ETL software, database and hardware tuning
Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and tuning in an Oracle environment
Applicant should be knowledgeable and experienced in all types of data modeling, including strong dimensional modeling techniques.
Experience with data quality tools and knowledgeable in data quality approaches and techniques.
6+ years of experience in data management or computer programming.
Experience working with relational databases & programming concepts.
Detailed knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Mart physical RDBMS schemata.
Excellent working knowledge Unix/Linux, IDMS
Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, Perl
Experience with troubleshooting data issues and providing on-call support
Ability to lead and communicate with off-shore resources
