Our client is an international software company offering end to end business solutions for the Alternative Investments, Private Equity, Banking and Insurance market places. Their software solutions serve over 260 customers across the world in 34 countries serving Private Equity, Real Estate funds and Funds of Funds.
We are looking for a highly motivated junior consultant to join the Professional Services team in New York City. This role requires a self-motivated individual with the responsibility to take ownership of one's work and flexibility to work on a team.

Main Function
This role provides customer facing business consulting (70%) on accountancy products for sophisticated financial services clients and around 30% coding.
MUST HAVE
For this role, it is important to have the following skill sets and attributes
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Financial Engineering.
- One to two years of experience with financial software.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time within North America.
- A proven problem solver who can deliver solutions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE
For this role, it would be helpful to have the following skill sets and attributes.
- Experience with finance or Private Equity exposure
- MS SQL, JavaScript and/or VB.NET
