Our client is an established technology company that is growing and is a leader in their space. Their innovative and diverse product offerings have propelled them into a recognized position in the security space with enormous growth potential. As a result of some of their new company initiatives we are now seeking proven sales professionals with a history of selling security software or hardware offerings for these great expansion roles with the company:
Position title: Account Manager
Locations: Pacific Northwest, Midwest(Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, etc.), Southern California/Arizona/Colorado/Utah, New York/New Jersey, and Chicago
Position description:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for selling the company's security products and services to new and existing named accounts within a defined territory. Applicants must have experience selling security and network solutions to large enterprise companies through the channel. The company is experiencing strong organic growth as well as having recently acquired several market leading technologies.
Required/desired skills:
•5-7+ years of successful experience in network and security software and/or hardware sales with recent experience in one of these areas: threat detection, cyber security, deep packet inspection, DDos attack, big data security/analytics and network security, network forensics, intrusion detection, security visibility, malware, security architecture, advanced persistent threats, etc.
•Sustained, verifiable track record of exceeding sales quotas
•Must have excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
•Manage prospecting and sales activities in assigned territory
•Identify and close sales opportunities in the territory
•Coordinates sales activities with other field sales reps and management
•Develop relationships with key channel partners including integrators, VARs, and service providers
•Coordinate and develop local sales and marketing activities
•Establish and build relationships with top accounts to maximize revenue and long term business
•Lead sales presentations for end user and reseller meetings/events
•Update opportunities in Salesforce, manage pipeline, and accurately forecast revenue
•Interface with the channel sales team on program implementation and training
•Aggressively promote the company and their industry leading security solutions in the marketplace
•Some overnight travel required
•Construct and execute an effective territory development plan and building a sales pipeline
Candidates of interest may be those with previous security sales experience from companies such as McAfee, FireEye, Cisco, RSA/Netwitness, Fluke Networks, Niksun, Damballa, Checkpoint Software, Sourcefire, Trend Micro, H-P/Arcsight, Sandstorm, Fidelis Security, Mandiant, Netforensics, Fortinet, Allot, Procera Networks, etc. or one of the many others in these offerings areas.
