Position Description:
We are looking for a qualified contracts negotiator to join our Contracts & Licensing team. This team member will negotiate a wide array of software license and services contracts and subcontracts.
This position reports to Wind River's Legal Director, IP & Licensing, and will work closely with Legal team members, internal clients, and Wind River's parent and sister companies on transactions and special projects.
Responsibilities of the position include:
-Structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of domestic and international agreements, including in-bound and out-bound software licenses, engineering services, joint development and strategic alliance agreements, professional services agreements and statements of work, and other contracts.
-Support Wind River Sales, Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and other internal teams on transactions in a variety of areas.
-Special projects as requested.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years or more of relevant experience, including significant software licensing experience, as well as experience negotiating professional services agreements, statements of work and other contracts. Knowledge of open source software licensing, and embedded software licensing are pluses. In-house experience is required and law firm experience is preferred.
