We are looking for a Director, Business Development for a full time employee role at a leading semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer. The Director of Business Development will drive global business growth in product upgrades and productivity enhancement solutions by working with customers to understand their needs and work with internal teams and partners to develop solutions. The job is located in the Bay Area, CA.
Responsibilities:
•Ownership of business development to achieve market share, revenue and profitability targets from global customer base.
•Understand existing portfolio, install base, TAM and SAM.
•Work directly with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions (products, services and partnerships) to meet those needs.
•Work with internal teams to develop and deliver solution offerings.
•Launch the new solutions to the target markets.
•Evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, partnerships and joint development programs.
•Create business case/market analysis for recommended opportunities.
•Manage a team of business development managers.
Requirements:
•8+ years of business development or marketing experience in semiconductor manufacturing or capital equipment industry.
•Solid technical background in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
•Strong ability to interface with customers.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
•Proven people management and team leadership experience.
•Solid understanding of financials and business performance.
•Strong leadership skills with the confidence to interact and present to senior management.
•Bachelors in Engineering or Business, MBA/MS preferred.
•20% to 25% International and domestic travel.
