Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time Virtual Sales Organization (VSO) Marketing Manager consultant for our technology client in San Jose, CA.
The VSO Marketing Manager will support the inside sales team for marketing services as it relates to their software offerings. This assignment requires experience marketing software, preferably to the Enterprise/ISP market. The target audience for this software marketing is the Enterprise IT professional.
Responsibilities:
Accelerate the sale of services offerings for software by leveraging programs designed to drive demand generation for the Virtual Sales Service (VSO) organization
Prioritize programs by business needs driving year-over-year growth of service bookings
Collaborate and actively integrate with Services Partner Marketing
Coordinate and leverage resources from across company to improve VSO success
Execute success of VSO respective programs and communicate results quarterly against determined metrics
Recognize, recommend and lead opportunities for disruptive marketing innovation and proactively eliminate barriers for success
Maintain productive communications with all key interlock points and provide timely and appropriate escalation of issues and inhibitors
Skills:
Must have 6 - 7 years solid marketing experience for B2B software offerings
Requires solid understanding of technical services offerings and experience marketing software associated with those offerings
Demonstrated success managing programs and resources to successful outcome
Ability to recognize barriers to success and make recommendations to overcome hurdles to both product and services teams
Must be extremely effective in a matrix-managed organization and have well-developed communications and presentation skills
Ability to recognize when escalation is required is critical! Requires ability to follow escalation with suggested solutions
Requires strong experience in sales facing field marketing
Must have strong program management abilities and execution skills coupled with demonstrated ability to succeed in a matrix environment
BA/BS in Marketing, Sales or related field
Rate: D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location: 50% onsite at client's office in San Jose, CA; 50% offsite/WFH. NO PHONE CALLS.
Hours/Duration: Full time, ASAP, ongoing
