We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Project Manager Contractor for a high technology company in the data center hosting space. The Marketing Project Manager will own the new product launch management process for a strategic initiative in cloud solutions. The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining a detailed Microsoft project plan, coordinating with many marketing teams, working with early/beta customers and for communicating project process to stakeholders and executives.
This is a 4 month, 40 hours per week role onsite at the client's offices in Redwood City, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
•Manages complex project activities for the Product Management and overall Marketing organization to achieve both strategic and tactical business goals.
•Develops project plans and leads interdepartmental teams from Marketing, Operations, Network Engineering, IT and other organizations in plan execution.
•Oversees multiple concurrent tasks and projects performed on a interdepartmental basis and within approved budgets.
•Conducts frequent team and status meetings and reports status and tracking support to management and executives.
•Support product management organization in the new product roll out, product feature enhancements and geographic expansions
•Work with beta customers to gain early customer quotes and success stories.
Requirements:
•5-10+ years experience in managing complex corporate projects in a project management role
•Extensive experience with project management tools and methodologies; proficiency in MS Project a must
•Strong coordination, multi-tasking and organizational skills
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
•Experience in Internet, networking or telecommunications services industries
•Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to take non structured task list and build into trackable project plan
•Experience with projects involving product launch, marketing programs / campaigns, product development lifecycle management.
•Pro-active. Ability to take ideas/feedback and turn into action.
•BS Degree
