The VP of Sales is a key role on the leadership team of the PbZ business unit. The VP Sales will have the opportunity to help build a new business and organization. The role is ideal for the driven sales executive with a history of developing and executing effective sales strategies and tactics for SaaS and service solutions, and leading sales to exceed revenue targets. The successful candidate enjoys a 'player-coach' role and brings a record of building and scaling a high-performing sales team while concurrently meeting or exceeding an individual quota. Success requires innovation and experimentation while working collaboratively across groups toward a common goal.

The Vice President of Sales will be located in the corporate headquarters in Emeryville, CA. The role will report directly to the President of Powered by Zip, Xavier Zang.
Responsibilities

• In collaboration with President of Powered by Zip, define sales strategies as well as realistic targets and metrics for PbZ sales
• Execute sales strategies and manage team (and self) to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Partner with Marketing to define and implement initiatives to maximize growth through lead generation, campaigns and programs
• Manage, analyze and improve all sales related activities including prospecting, new account sales, account expansion, forecast and pipeline management, and campaign management
• Provide day-to-day guidance on deals and sales best practices to sales team members

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required
• 10+ years of successful software or SaaS B2B/B2B2C solution sales experience
• 1+ years in residential real estate sales, franchise sales or related experience
• Experience driving strategic selling methodologies anchored in industry best practices
• Results oriented, highly motivated and driven to succeed with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
• Experience building teams and business from initial stages to $50+ million in revenue
• Record of recruiting, leading, managing, mentoring and training sales executives
