Software Engineer
Works with the client or user to define a costed and prioritized programme of systems development that supports the organizations objectives and strategic plans. Works with business and analysis teams to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques. Translates User Requirements into high level design specifications and a high level design specifications into detailed design specifications. Creates and amends programs in accordance with the design. Plans, designs and conducts tests of programs; corrects errors and re-tests to achieve an error-free result. Uses appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with the organisations agreed, standards, methods and a procedures. Documents all work in accordance with agreed standards. Takes part in evaluations and reviews of programming methods, tools and standards. Carries out
software process improvement assignments as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills and expertise. Communicate complex technical information effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences. Deliver customer demonstrations and customer training for OSyS products. Deliver the product/solution within scope, budget and time limitations. Ensure customer acceptance of OSyS products, including the production of deliverable artefacts.
3 to 4 years of Maximo experience with minimum exposure of two end-to-end implementations Maximo v6 and v7 installation and configuration Oracle PL/SQL
