Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities
l System-level mechanical design in compliance with thermal, structural, EMI, ESD, and tolerance requirements
l Detailed design of telecommunication enclosures, including sheet metal, plastics, cast parts, cables, fans, connectors
l Ability to work with cross functional teams from product definition to execution phase
Qualifications Required
l BSME, MSME preferred, and 5+ years related experience
l Excellent knowledge of mechanical design tools (ProE, preferred, or SolidWorks) and ability to perform complex mechanical analysis to guide design
l Structural FEA experience (Ansys) a plus
l Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
l Strong problem solving ability and ability to handle complex projects
l Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. Mandarin is a plus
Preferred skills
l Extensive direct mechanical design experience in telecom and server industry
l Experience in advanced mechanical design and in-depth understanding of industry trends and standards
l Familiarity with thermal simulation tools (Flotherm or similar) and thermal issues in electronics
l Experience with design validation and agency certification (MDVT, EMI, product safety
