Gridstore Position: Sr. Field Sales Representative –Eastern Region
Do you want to fundamentally improve the way companies manage their data storage in virtual environments. We're a pre-IPO Silicon Valley company with great customers, a phenomenal team, and a constantly evolving product that we hold up to high standards. Furthermore, our company is backed by leading venture investors that are committed to our success. We are seeking a high caliber sales representative that is interested in advancing their lucrative career in technology sales. This candidate must be highly motivated to sell everyday with a "hunter" mentality. We have a multi-faceted sales territory model which requires daily phone prospecting and working with reseller and strategic partner representatives to win, close and develop new business !
Objective: To sell Gridstore's unique and powerful storage product line into the mid-tier to enterprise market in the Eastern United States territory. Start date is no later than January 2, 2014. Our sales compensation package is lucrative and exceeds industry standards. We offer the ability to earn unlimited commissions in addition to a significant base salary and employee benefits.
Required Skills:
1. Understand our solution, benefits and competitive advantages and be able to position our technology superior to the leading storage vendors.
2. Ability to develop and work a comprehensive territory plan that generates 5X pipeline verses annual quota.
3. Candidate must have deep storage experience to convey a high level of confidence to end user prospects and reseller partners.
4. Significant experience qualifying, ramping and selling with storage reseller partners.
5. Must be a self-starter and work productively remote from headquarters.
6. Must possess solid sales skills, an unbelievable work ethic and a positive attitude.
7. Candidate must be extremely competitive in nature.
8. Oral communication and presentation skills must be polished.
9. Must possess excellent written communication skills.
10. 5-10 years experience in the data storage industry is a requirement with a minimum of 4 years in the Eastern Region territory ranging from Boston to Florida.
11. Minimum personal goal and proven track record of achieving or beating quarterly and annual sales goals.
Location Mountain View, CA. We're located near Google's campus at highway 101 and Rengstorff exit.
