Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a E-Rate Marketing Program Manager for a consulting assignment for our client, Cisco. E-Rate is a federal government program that provides funding to schools with a high number of low-income students. These schools are typically in large cities and large school districts. A portion of this funding is dedicated to technology. This role is responsible for supporting and driving our clients' Services opportunities to tap into this federal funding. The E-Rate Marketing Program Manager will connect with the Cisco product sales team responsible for E-Rate and work to attach Cisco services offerings. The E-Rate Marketing Program Manager will work with the Field Marketing team to develop and execute outbound lead and demand generation programs. The consultant will be responsible for the nuts and bolts (operations) of Cisco services participation in the program: updating part numbers on federal lists and services SKU numbers. The ideal consultant is a strong networker/relationship builder, is highly communicative and is solidly capable of delivering outbound programs. 100% remote/offsite consulting/WFH.
Specific Responsibilities:
Support and drive Services opportunities to tap into available federal funding
Collaborate with clients' product sales side for E-Rate program and attach services offerings
Interface with Field Marketing team to develop and execute outbound lead and demand generation programs
Manage operations of services participation in the E-Rate program (tracking SKU's, part numbers, etc.)
Deliver ongoing internal education about the E-Rate program
Skills:
Must have prior experience working with the E-Rate government program; candidates without E-Rate experience will not be considered
6-7 years of combined marketing programs/demand generation experience
Networking skills to make connections with the key players in this process
Strong program management skills and excellent operations skills: reporting, tracking and documenting
Prior Cisco experience strongly preferred, but not required
Experience with Services is preferred, but not required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 100% remote/offsite/WFH consulting. No phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: FT; January 6, 2014 – ongoing.
