Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will have the key responsibility of ensuring the integrity of accounting information related to financial activity. She/he will have responsibility for general ledger maintenance, stock option administration and accounts receivable. Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
Specific responsibilities shall include:
• Responsible for monthly close process, which includes journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis of variances
• Interface with operations and others internally to prepare invoices
• Review and support for accounts payable and payroll processes
• Stock option administration and maintenance
• Oversee fixed asset management, including CIP review, asset tracking and reporting
• Assist in preparation of company's annual audit
• Special projects as requested, particularly related to implementation of new processes and accounting policies
Are You a Fit?
The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 4-5 years of general accounting experience. Big 4 public accounting and public company experience is desired. Proficiency in MS Office required, and a working knowledge of Equity Edge and mid-tier ERP software applications is a plus. We are a fast paced team so a motivated self-starter with solid interpersonal and communications skills is favored. A proven problem solver with strong analytical skills, and of course attention to detail and organized – after all this is an accounting position.
