The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing and creating our stories. This includes PR, social, blogs, and bylines. It also includes working on marketing materials and more. You�ll report to our Director of Content Communications. You�ll run point on our relationship with our PR agency. You�ll manage our social strategy and calendar. And you�ll get to know everyone at every level of the company, including the C-suite.
You must have:
A demonstrable understanding of SMBs and how they make decisions about technology
Understanding of how SMBs work with IT channel partners
Impeccable communications skills
Specific Responsibilities
Manage and create PR content.
Manage and create social media content.
Create bylines blog entries other less technical content.
Create marketing materials.
Create transactional messages in approachable voice.
Ensure adherence to design and style guidelines.
Work with content and program management to ensure consistent processes and milestones are achieved.
Participate in team meetings to provide document creation estimates and content plans.
Develop and maintain schedules, estimates, and plans for multiple interrelated projects.
Required Skills:
Experience in Public Relations.
Desire to broaden beyond PR to all elements of communications.
Solid technical orientation.
Strong creative, conceptual, and problem solving skills.
Experience creating content for small to medium sized business audience (SMBs). Strong understanding of their buying process.
Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical information clearly with relevant and simple examples.
Excellent interviewing skills resulting in finding the hidden stories.
Basic project management; scheduling, defining and managing multiple deliverable priorities.
Interactions:
Interactions with stakeholders across the company, as well as external agencies
Years of Experience Educational requirements:
5-7 years of experience
Bachelor�s Degree
