CPR International, a retained executive search firm dedicated to the Medical Device Industry, has just engaged by our client on searches for multiple senior level marketing assignments based in their headquarters in the San Francisco Bay area. Our client (CONFIDENTIAL) is a mid-stage medical device company with exciting disruptive technology. These searches include: Vice President of Global Marketing, Director, Manager Market Development and Business Unit Manager.
The Vice President, Global Marketing will drive the worldwide creation, management, and guide the tactical and strategic marketing activities for the organization which will support and maximize the sales strategy via product/customer marketing, communications and public/patient relations. He/she will lead the supporting functions and direct the group carrying out these responsibilities, building and maintaining a marketing organization that will be a strategic asset of the company.
• The desired candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in a marketing function with a proven track record of success.
• 8+ years managing a marketing organization in the medical device or healthcare products industry.
• A background in medical devices or healthcare products and in hospital-based sales models is highly preferred, experience in spine is desirable.
• Experience interacting directly with medical community.
• Extensive experience and abilities with Microsoft Office.
• Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Approximately 30% travel required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Experience interacting directing with medical community.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment is essential.
• Leadership and motivational abilities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to deliver results with multiple and complex projects.
