Virtual Networking Architect
About the Team:
US software Lab Networking & Virtualization Group is engaged in designing and delivering the most advanced and competitive virtualization technologies and solutions to back up the company's Cloud Strategy. This team focuses on creating elastic virtualization infrastructure and solutions for sophisticated Cloud Computing Environments, for both Enterprise and Telco customers. We're looking for established professionals in OS Kernel, Networking, and Virtualization areas to form a world-class design team, supported by global development and testing team, to bring exciting changes to the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze industrial trends of Network Virtualization
- Analyze and improve user experience of virtualized network environments
- Lead virtual networking DevOps efforts for internal teams and with customers
- Influence architectural design to improve manageability and usability of novel virtual networking technologies
Required Experience and Skills:
- Master in Java and/or Python programming
- Familiarity with multi-thread programming, scripting, and XML
- Deep understanding of BYOD system administration
- Deep understanding of DevOps of networking infrastructure
- Deep understanding of network stack, including TCP/IP, and various over-IP/Ethernet technologies
- Deep understanding of Ethernet and switching technologies and standards
Competencies:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant development experience
