Successful client seeking Java Developer for a 3+ month contract! Will lead development teams in the development and implementation of internal applications.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• 10 years JAVA/OOA/OOD.
• 6+ years J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC).
• 6+year’s development experience.
• 4+ years Web Experience (Velocity, JavaScript, HTML, XML).
• 4+ years Struts (prefer Struts 2).
• Some Web 2.0 (preferably AJAX, DOJO, Yui, JSF Frameworks, richFaces, Tomahawk).
• 3-tier Client Server Architecture.
• Mobile App Development.
• Spring Framework.
• JBoss or similar (Weblogic).
• 4+ years Oracle DB, UNIX, Windows.
• Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with ClearCase, ClearQuest, or Jira.
• Eclipse Java5.
• Ability to read and understand UML Design Diagrams.
• Hibernate.
• Data Integrator.
• Ultra Edit.
Preferred:
• Angular JS
• Groovy Scripting
• JMS
• JBOSS suite of products
Responsibilities:
• Help Project Manager to gather technical requirements for projects.
• Occasionally design working with an Architect on IT projects.
• Communicate status, issues, concerns, recommendations, designs, and technical decisions to business stake holders.
• Monitor/Lead other Developers in implementation of the projects.
