Sr Great Plains Developer

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing integrations between GP and legacy system with the purpose of increasing system performance and system throughput.
- Propose new solutions and upon solution approval: design, develop, test and deploy new solutions.
- Troubleshot and resolve system performance issues.
- Provide technical support to GP users (Accounting and Logistics).
- Assist other Product Development and IT organizations.
- Document and maintain design documentation, including process flows, data flows and system interactions.
Minimum Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Hands-on development working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains to develop, customize, and support the Dynamics GP environment v10.0.
- Ability to research performance issues and implement a solution.
- Desirable
- Experience with other ERP implementations (JDE, AX)
- 10+ Years of experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains, true developer
- 10+ Years of experience with MS SQL Server.
- 3+ Years of experience with eOne SmartConnect.
- Experience with GP Accounting and Inventory modules.
- Experience supporting Great Plains Implementations/ Upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, with experience in database development and reports development.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team of developers in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- MS Certifications are a plus.
