Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager for our technology client located in San Mateo. The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager must have recent experience in creating promotional marketing websites, communication plans, and event sponsorship experiences for large scale conferences. This role will define overall marketing goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics. The Manager will also be responsible for the audience acquisition and internal/external communication plans and programs.

The ideal candidate is a strong marketing communications professional, with events knowledge and background, accustomed to working in a fast paced, deadline driven, results-oriented, customer-centric environment. Must be highly adaptive, very resourceful, with high energy and an eye for creativity and a proven ability to drive measurable results.

Responsibilities:

Ensure business objectives and marketing strategies are achieved according to the strategy and plan

Work within a defined consistent process and framework for event marketing engagement results

Analyze online social/digital and various media marketing promotional campaigns for effectiveness

Define key program stakeholders, create functional teams, manage expectations to timeline and budgets

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver event marketing and communications plans while ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives

Create an effective audience acquisition strategy using target audience research, analysis segmentation to drive event revenue and key success factors

Full program development and management may include:

Assist in the development and execution of the event theme online and at the live event

Work with Content Director and Creative Director on creating appropriate event messaging

Work with the Expo Hall Manager to effectively promote event and exhibit sponsorships and create a sponsor portal

Work with the Experiential Event Designer to market and communicate accurately the customer activations

Manage writers for all online and event marketing communication deliverables

Create a Marcom timeline and tract all MarCom deliverables

Create an internal and external Communications plan

Create an internal and external event website

Work with the Operations Manager to create a registration website

Work with the Content Director to create a content development website for presentations

Work with the Breakout Session Manager to create a speaker portal

Create an event marketing campaign spanning online/social media, and traditional media

Create event websites and a social media plan

Oversee and maintain master timelines and production schedules

Skills:

7 to 10 years' experience managing integrated marketing communications programs, including setting event marketing program strategies. Must include recent experience working for at least one technology company. High tech and agency experience a strong plus.

Strong communications skills: verbal/public speaking, written, presentations, websites

Strategic, creative and business minded individual

Results oriented individual with proven ability to deliver on time and on budget

Strong project management capabilities. Must have the ability to juggle multiple programs.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar



RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)

LOCATION: Onsite at client's office in San Mateo, CA. No phone calls.

HOURS/DURATION: Full time, ASAP – June 2016.
