We are hiring a range of experience levels and desired skill sets, but all development positions require strong cross platform (server side) C++ development skills and an interest in automation and systems management in the virtual datacenter.
QA Engineer ( Enterprise - Client Server Exp, Background with VMware or Microsoft products a plus) ( Local candidates please
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Work with QA and the engineering teams to develop and execute product test plans
· Work with QA and the engineering teams to identify test case shortcomings and fix them
· Work with QA and the engineering teams to extend test coverage
· Must be a hands -on person with a solid knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows.
· Must be willing and capable of preforming many different QA engineering tasks as part of a small highly motivated, highly skilled engineering team.
You will need experience in SEVERAL of the following:
· Testing SOAP server and clients.
· Use of virtualization (Xen, KVM, vSphere or Hyper-V).
· Linux or Windows system administration – enough to install and configure hosts under test.
· Test Automation, particularly of SOAP, REST servers; Lab setup (installation, configuration of physical and virtual hosts.)
And you must have ALL of these:
· Strong sense of teamwork.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Expertise in UNIX or Windows scripting. (Python, C/C++, Java useful but optional)
· Professional engineering ability.
· Flexibility & multi-tasking approach.
