Senior Marketing Writer

Eccolo Media is a unique and growing agency of marketing communications writers serving up high quality content for mid- to enterprise-size technology companies. We have an immediate need for an accomplished Senior Writer – someone with proven experience in the technology industry combined with excellent writing and communication skills. This full-time role requires a self-starter with a solid portfolio of written work as well as excellent project management and people skills.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Writer, approximately 60-70% of your time will be spent writing and developing marketing content such as white papers, videos, brochures/data sheets, case studies, podcasts, Flash, web and social media content for your clients. The rest of your time will be spent interfacing with clients, helping to identify new project opportunities, managing deadlines, and managing other writers and vendors for the successful delivery of project components. Minimal travel, both local and national, may be required.
Desired Skills and Experience
• 4+ years as a marketing writer
• Solid experience within the technology industry
• Able to demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility for client and project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superb copyediting and proofreading skills
• Proven project management skills
• Experience working in a service delivery agency
• Experience writing for social media a plus
• Must be available to be onsite full-time in our San Francisco office in the financial district (local applicants only, no relocation provided)
